Saga Ceylon tea is the brainchild of a couple passionate about sharing the true essence of single origin pure Ceylon tea with the world.
This interest was sparked one day by taking an awe-inspiring sip of tea brewed using the freshest tea originating from the low-country tea fields. This was the start of the Saga journey. Thus, began our quest for tea makers that were capable of producing tea of this exceptional quality sourced primarily from the Sabaragamuwa region.
Every leaf is intricately handpicked by tea pluckers of the region which is followed by careful processing ensuring that the taste and aroma is retained.
Apart from the unique taste which sets Saga apart from other Ceylon teas, we have taken a conscious decision to maintain our packaging efforts as sustainable and eco-friendly as possible.
Together, we strive to share with the world the most exquisite tea of a unique taste, aroma and flavor – truly the essence of what Ceylon Tea is all about!
Our Tea
Our tea is a strong single origin black tea with a finely balanced richness, flavour, strength and aroma.
The loose tea leaf has a large spherical granular texture giving a full bodied bright tea.
Our tea is offered in 200g and 400g packs.
